Survivor Location Lights
In 2006 Daniamant acquired the Survivor Location Lights division from McMurdo Ltd in the UK and in 2007 Daniamant acquired the Lifebuoy Lights business from Comet GmbH. Now together as one Company, Daniamant is a major force in the Survivor Location Lights business with a World Wide reputation for quality products covering a wide range of products, employing some 75 people. Activities are focused in four key areas:

Life Jacket Lights
All Daniamant Lifejacket lights are designed to deliver, as a minimum standard, the 0.75cd output specification and 8 hour duration required by IMO SOLAS regulations.
Liferaft Lights
All Daniamant external Liferaft lights are designed to deliver, as a minimum standard, the 4.3cd output specification and 12 hour duration required by IMO SOLAS regulations. All internal Liferaft lights are in the process of being redesigned to conform to the new IMO SOLAS resolutions to deliver the 0.5cd output specification and 12 hour duration.

Lifebuoy Lights
All Daniamant Lifebuoy lights are designed to deliver, as a minimum standard, the 2cd output specification and 2 hour duration required by IMO SOLAS regulations. All Daniamant Lifebuoy lights are constructed to withstand a drop into the water from at least 30m, as required by the LSA code (Chapter II Section 2.1.1.6).
Special Products
Daniamant also produce a range of location lights for special applications, designed for the civil, military, marine and aviation markets.
